Human Rights Office, Publications
When volunteers come to us they are given the opportunity, if they wish, of spending time exploring an area of interest relating to the human rights field; to then carry out research into that topic with the ultimate goal of producing an article. Some volunteers make a start during their internship, collecting information and beginning their research, but due to time constraints, continue to write up and complete their articles once they return home. Others however are able to complete their articles whilst they are here and sometimes the opportunity arises which will enable a volunteer to have their article published. Here you can take a look at the articles written by previous PAHRO volunteers who have been published in a variety of different publications:
Violation of human rights of disadvantaged and vulnerable refugees
Inside Track Publication: Dave Beaumont published article
Through the Fear: A Study of Xenophobia in South Africa’s Refugee System by Janet McKnight
The Domestic Violence Epidemic in South Africa: Legal and Practical Remedies
