Welcome to the Projects Abroad Human Rights Office

“We enter into a covenant that we shall build a society in which all South Africans, both black and white, will be able to walk tall, without fear in their hearts, assured of their inalienable right to human rights – a rainbow nation at peace with itself and the world.”
Nelson Mandela, Inaugural Address, Pretoria 09 May 1994.

The Projects Abroad Human Rights Office was established to give legal advice and raise awareness of human rights to at-risk groups such as indigent people, refugees/asylum seekers, women, children and young offenders.

MISSION STATEMENT

The Projects Abroad Human Rights Office acknowledges the need to raise awareness in the less fortunate communities regarding their fundamental human rights. The office further emphasises the right to legal representation to all people from all walks of life, focusing especially on indigent people in the area of Cape Town.
